Two Stadium, Day-Night

Today is another one of those day-night double headers I hate so much. It is not bad enough they are stretching out two games, what is worse about this one is, it is being played at two different stadiums. The whole thing wreaks of how can we make the most money out of all this and I really wish they would do away with it.

If, however, the Mets need to play a Day-Night double header, I certainly would love to see them win. It would be great if they followed up a win against the Mariners with going on a role, starting with the Yankees. Of course, the subway series earlier in the year saw the Mets sweep a rain shortened two game series and then start playing terrible baseball. Lets hope that does not happen again.

Right now the Mets are up six to four in the first game. It looks like it is a little bit of a seesaw battle but certainly it would make things easier if the Mets took the first game in the series as well as the first game in the doubleheader, and the only game being played at Yankee Stadium this time around.

Certainly one can hope.

Let’s Go Mets!
