A Winning Streak!

Yesterday was a big win for the Mets. Obviously it is not as if it was a “must win” game, not in the sense of something that will have them packing their bags if they lose. Still, they now have a winning streak (not big, but three qualifies) that involves beating up on more than one team. It is amazing to me that this is the first time they have won three straight since April, and actually, I can’t even recall that streak.

As for the game itself, Wright was hitting, Delgado was fielding and the bullpen was pitching. I still am not feeling fully comfortable with many of the starters as yesterday it was Vargas that let the Dodgers get back into the game when the Mets had them on the ropes. Still, the Mets kept coming and all their runs scored with two outs.

There is not much to dislike about yesterday’s game.

Let’s Go Mets!
